Our store in Warminster, Wiltshire, is full of hundreds of stunning designer fabrics and textiles, along with everything else you need to create the most eye-catching and practical curtains and blinds. If you prefer, we’ll make curtains and blinds to measure and install them for you, anywhere within a radius of about 20 miles from Warminster.
Besides being the area’s leading independent curtain and blind retailer, we’re also known far and wide for our treasure trove of textile “home comforts” – increasingly hard-to-find items like table-runners, handy haberdashery, table napkins, antimacassars, cushion covers and inners, ready-made net curtains, tray cloths, valances and odd-sized bed sheets.
We pride ourselves on running our business with old fashioned values, which means the customer comes first and we go out of our way to fulfil your requirements, whether you want us to make blinds for all your windows or just need a reel of thread.

Our company ethos of being amiable and approachable, as well as committed to giving an honest service with value for money, was inspired by the late Julie Lindsay, who founded Lindsay’s Textiles back in 2004, and is still fondly remembered by all who knew her.
Current owner, John, with his team, continues Julie’s tradition of personal service with a smile and willingness to please at all costs. He’s notched up a few success stories, like working for the late Sir Edward Heath; supplying towels for the reality show “The Farm” when it was filmed locally; and our shop being visited by one of our famous suppliers, Bill Beaumont – the legendary English rugby player who also happens to run the premier interior fabrics wholesaler in Lancashire that bears his name.

We offer free consultations to measure up your windows and give you a cost estimate. We’re also happy to help you make a choice of design and fabric from our huge range. Carry a selection of swatches home and take your time to decide if you wish.

Come to Lindsay’s Textiles and meet our helpful staff. Between us we have more than 60 years’ experience in retail and the textile trade, so there’s not much we don’t know about fabric quality and style.
The business owner, is our experienced estimator and fitter. He project manages all orders from start to finish. In his spare time John’s a keen footie fan, and has eclectic interests like a love of live music, history and the arts.
Head of the workshop, is obviously a keen needlewoman, both at work and at home. It’s Sue who creates all our bespoke curtains and blinds. When she’s not at the sewing machine she’s enjoying her dogs and family time, probably tuned in to some good music too.
Our shop manager, keeps everything ship-shape and serves our customers in store. For leisure and pleasure she enjoys walking (with her beloved dog), spending time with family, sewing and gardening.

Lindsay’s Textiles has grown from a small retail shop selling mainly bedding and haberdashery, to being the area’s largest independent curtain retailer.
We stock over 100 designs of ready-made curtains and also supply a huge choice of over 2000 custom made fabrics.
